The main objective of the rule is, as indicated, “to prevent or hinder and detect that fraud can be committed” with these operations.

In addition to this, it seeks to contribute to “standardizing and modernizing business computer systems”, favoring the exchange of tax information and simplifying direct communication with the Administration. To top it off, “it will significantly reduce the unfair competition exploited by those who defraud compared to those who comply” with their tax duty.
